Mindful Nature Journaling Hike with Jessica Dalrymple: Saturday, 11/8 (9:30-11 A.M.)

Calm your mind and spend some time in nature. Jessica Dalrymple’s hike will give you an opportunity to immerse yourself in your natural surroundings, quiet your nervous system with meditation, and through a journaling activity help you more closely observe and connect more deeply with nature.

This event is 90 minutes; we’ll hike for 30 minutes into Prospect Park, pause at a quiet spot and sit for a 5-minute guided meditation, followed by a 20-30 minute nature journaling session whereby participants sketch, write, doodle, or notate their impressions. No artistic ability required!

Jessica has done many of these events and after the hike and journaling sessions people report feeling many things including: calm, peaceful, grounded, inspired, energized, alert, de-stressed, awakened, and more connected to nature.

Date:  Saturday, November 8 

Time:  9:30-11 A.M.

(Raindate: Sunday, November 9th)

Location: Bartel-Pritchard Square by the Citibike station (SW entrance to Prospect Park near Nitehawk).

Please arrive by 9:25AM to check in.

Cost: $25 includes guided walk, materials (journal and pencils), and a donation to The Prospect Park Alliance. Payments via Zelle or Venmo.
